South Carolina forward Collin Murray-Boyles has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, he confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-7 sophomore played a pivotal role for the Gamecocks during the 2024–25 season, starting all 32 games and averaging 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks per contest. He led the SEC in field-goal percentage (.586) and earned All-SEC second-team honors.
“This is exactly how I envisioned my college journey,” Murray-Boyles told ESPN. “South Carolina believed in my potential and gave me the space to grow and lead.”
A hometown product, Murray-Boyles has seen his draft stock rise rapidly and is currently projected as the No. 10 pick in ESPN’s latest mock draft. Known for his defensive intensity and well-rounded skill set, he’s drawn comparisons to Draymond Green for his on-court IQ and versatility.

“When people who truly understand basketball watch me, it’s the little things they notice,” he said. “I don’t always deliver the flashiest plays, but I know how to contribute to winning. My work ethic and unselfish style are what define my game. Defense is what I love most.”
Murray-Boyles made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2023–24, earning SEC All-Freshman Team honors after averaging 10.4 points and 5.7 rebounds in 28 games (19 starts).
The NBA Draft Combine will take place May 11–18 in Chicago, with the draft scheduled for June 25–26 in New York.
