Pete Rose’s health is becoming alarming and can barely walk
According to the court records, Rose “is currently disabled and can barely walk or travel.” “He has a heart condition and is on blood thinners; his health is deteriorating.”
His remarks represent the most recent developments in the 2011-started divorce process. According to TMZ’s April article, Rose owes a lot of money to the IRS and casinos for unpaid gambling debts, and Carol had requested that the courts make Rose’s complete financial records public.
Pete has been seeing 38-year-old former Playboy model Kiana Kim for a number of years, but he and Carol were married in 1984. Now that he wants to wed Kim, the divorce must be completed.
Despite being a 17-time All-Star, three-time World Series victor, and 1973 NL MVP, Rose was permanently banned from baseball in 1989 after it was discovered that he was placing bets on the game. Several reinstatement attempts were turned down by then-Commissioner Bud Selig in the early 2000s.
