It was anticipated that there would be some growing pains on that side of the ball because the Wolverines only had one offensive starter back from the 2023 campaign. Losing players like JJ McCarthy, Blake Corum, Roman Wilson, and the entire starting offensive line was going to hurt, even with excellent players like Colston Loveland and Donovan Edwards back.
