Caitlin Clark’s Unreal Full-Court Pass During Dream-Fever Goes Viral
Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark took the internet by storm Sunday afternoon with an incredible full-court pass to teammate NaLyssa Smith, leading to an easy layup during the first half of their matchup against the Atlanta Dream.
The Fever entered Sunday’s game coming off a loss to the Minnesota Lynx, but they have been one of the hottest teams in basketball over the past month, winning seven of their last nine games since returning from the Olympic hiatus.
Clark leads the entire WNBA in assists and is known for her exceptional ability to push the ball up the court, and her pass to Smith showed off those incredible skills.
The video went viral, surpassing 11,400 views within the first hour of being posted by the Fever’s X account.
This season, Clark is averaging 19.0 points, 8.4 assists, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals. Over the past month, she has earned back-to-back Player of the Week honors and won Player of the Month alongside MVP favorite A’ja Wilson.
The former Iowa star is the heavy favorite to win rookie of the year, and is currently a serious candidate to also make an All-WNBA team in just her first season.
Most significantly, she has guided the Fever to their first postseason appearance since 2016. Her influence has been enormous both on and off the court, significantly altering the Indiana Fever franchise’s course.
